Department of Human Services
The Department of Human Services provides individualized and group services. The Department consists of four offices that include the Office on Aging, Office of Housing & Social Services, Office of Recreation and the Office of Vital Statistics.
Additional divisions were established as initiatives under the current administration in order to offer greater resources to the public, including the City ID card which launched in 2016 to provide local IDs for the marginalized community.
Also the Teen Center, launched in 2017, runs under the Perth Amboy Municipal Alliance and offers after-school programs in the Brighton Avenue Community Center located on 56 Brighton Ave.
The Perth Amboy Gallery Center for the Arts was relocated to 339 Reade Street and offers students and local and aspiring artists to participate in various art showcases throughout the year. Click on the tiles below to learn more about what we have to offer!
