City of Perth Amboy to Host Memorial Day Ceremony at Sadowski Parkway

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — The City of Perth Amboy will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM at the Veterans War Memorial along Sadowski Parkway.

Each year, this solemn event brings together community members, veterans, and families along Perth Amboy’s scenic waterfront to pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States. The program will feature remarks from city officials, a ceremonial wreath laying, patriotic tributes, and participation from American Legion Post 45 of Perth Amboy. 

“Memorial Day is a time when we come together as one community to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We must never forget the price they paid, and it is our duty to keep their memory alive — not just today, but every day.”

The City of Perth Amboy invites all residents to attend this heartfelt tribute and join in honoring the legacy and sacrifice of our fallen heroes. Let us stand united in remembrance, reflection, and gratitude.

Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served at the Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center, located at 1 Olive Street.
