Public Safety Enforcement Notices
Posted: June 23, 2025
The Perth Amboy Police Department is actively enforcing local and state laws that directly affect public safety. These notices are issued to inform residents and visitors about specific violations that will be strictly addressed. All regulations are supported by state statute or city ordinance. Enforcement is ongoing, and there are no exceptions.
This campaign is being launched in response to an increase in community complaints and safety incidents—including excessive vehicle noise, unlawful exhaust modifications, e-bike misuse, and speeding in residential areas. These quality-of-life issues pose significant risks and have triggered an enhanced enforcement initiative citywide throughout Summer 2025.
