The City of Perth Amboy celebrates Independence Day, with patriotic music, food, fireworks, historical tours, colonial reenactments, and bell ringing.  Click HERE for COMBO PROMOTIONAL FLYER

The celebration begins on Saturday, July 2nd, at the Proprietary House, which will open at 1 PM and is within walking distance for a visit.
The fireworks festival and show have been rescheduled for Sunday, July 3rd, starting at 3 PM on Sadowski Parkway with food, vendors, and music.  The fireworks show will begin at 9:20 PM, right over Raritan Bay.
Also, join us on Sunday with the Garden State Symphonic Band at Bayview Park for a patriotic July 4th musical theme from 3 -5 PM at the Wilentz School located at 51 First Street.
On Monday, join us for an Independence reception at the Proprietary House at 11:30 AM, followed by a procession to City Hall Circle for a colonial cannon firing and American Revolution Colonial Honor Guard performances, New Jersey performances Fifes & Drums, and reenactors. There will also be readings of the Declaration of Independence followed by the ringing of the Liberty Bell.  The program starts at 12:30 PM at City Hall Circle.
