Traffic Advisory: Overnight Construction on Convery Boulevard

Weather Permitting

Residents and motorists are advised that overnight roadway concrete slab replacement and pavement restoration work will take place on Convery Boulevard beginning the week of June 15.

Work is scheduled between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and will include the removal and replacement of roadway concrete panels, base installation, and temporary roadway striping.

During construction, motorists should expect:

• A traffic shift on northbound Convery Boulevard between Dorothy Avenue and Chamberlain Avenue.
• A closure of the southbound left lane along the same stretch of roadway.
• Police officers and traffic control personnel on site during work hours.

Most construction activity will occur in front of Perth Amboy High School. Residents living near the North Park area may experience some overnight construction noise.

No water service interruptions are anticipated as part of this work.
