COMMUNITY INVITED TO GROUNDBREAKING OF COMMUNITY CENTER AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE PARTNERSHIPNew headquarters for Eddie & Brenda Trujillo Family Foundation and PAL
PERTH AMBOY NJ – (JULY 8, 2022) – On Saturday, July 9th at 11:00 AM, state, county, and local representatives of the City of Perth Amboy, Eddie and Brenda Trujillo Family Foundation, Inc. (EBTF), the National Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc., and the Perth Amboy Police will host a groundbreaking ceremony and announcement at the former Knights Of Columbus, Council #299 as the new EBTF headquarters that will also be home for the Perth Amboy Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) located on 228 High Street.
Established in 2010, EBTF will expand on its organization's mission to empower youth academically and socially and provide humanitarian aid with a renewed focus on making transformative changes for the benefit of the community as a whole.
The celebration will also include the announcement of PAL and its partnership with EBTF to develop after-school programs, mentorship, college readiness programs, youth employment, juvenile justice programs, and community service opportunities. EBTF has been a longtime sponsor and advocate of youth development through recreational sports in New Jersey and the Dominican Republic for the last 12 years. EBTF also aspires to bring the Scouts of America Club to Perth Amboy.
