We also provide weekly transportation to dialysis patients. We are 100% percent handicap accessible as we have handicap accessible buses, ramps and parking.
Monthly Programming & Activities
The Office on Aging offers an active community center for seniors. A monthly calendar is provided with all scheduled programs and activities for the month. The calendar includes the date and time of all the activities as well of some of the most popular monthly programs which include: Bingo, Billiard, Tai Chi, Exercise Class, and Arts & Crafts. Residents are welcome to attend and can call our office to register to participate in the center and for transportation services.
Social Service/Case Management
Our Office offers case management personnel to assist with any and all issues pertaining to Housing, Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and any other concern a senior may face.

In addition to all the services we offer, our office works in a collaborative partnership with 15 senior clubs located in our city. A by-monthly Advisory Council meeting is held for all the presidents of each club. One of the main purpose of this council is to create a better line of communication between local government and the senior clubs. Information is shared and distributed to all presidents about our new programs and special activities and or trips. The Senior Advisory presidents are encouraged to use the Office on Aging as their headquarters or point of information.
